Air Cooled Condenser (ACC)

Air Cooled Condenser (ACC)

Condenses the steam discharged from the steam turbine in a low-pressure state to maintain degree of vacuum during operation and the back pressure of the steam turbine.

Widely used in power, oil refining, petrochemical, and chemical industries.

GEA is the inventor of air-cooling technology. In 1939, the world's first air cooled condenser system designed and constructed by GEA was put into operation as the cold end system of a steam turbine in the Essen mining site of the Ruhr industrial district in Germany.
