Conveying System
Due to the fragile nature of BPA, a basket conveyor is adopted to convey BPA prills produced by the prilling system to the bunker for storage or to the packaging system.
Basket conveyor features:
- The basket conveyor is made of S30408, and the baskets are made of S30408-2B to reduce power adhesion and friction so that the BPA can flow and discharge smoothly. The corners of each conveying path are equipped with large conveying sprockets wheels and tracks so that the baskets are stable and do not collide during conveying.
- Due to the electrostatic and explosive nature of BPA, this system must operate in a nitrogen system. Therefore, the conveyor must be airtight to prevent nitrogen leakage and rain-proof to avoid BPA pollution.
- BPA prills are steadily discharged into the basket conveyor. The conveyor's hopper is a continuous hopper that passes all raw BPA prills into baskets without wasting any of them due to hopper overflow.
- The Z-type conveyor is equipped with automatic powder emission systems at its end and lower corners. BPA powder flies inside the conveyor enclosure and sinks to the bottom of the conveyor affecting the conveyor's operation after a long accumulation. Since the production cannot be stopped and the conveyor is filled with nitrogen, an automatic powder emission system is designed where the returning conveying baskets scrape BPA powder into the emission outlet. The outlet is equipped with a double-board gate valve that achieves powder emission without leaking nitrogen, enhancing production efficiency without affecting the operation.
